Dineo Seshee Bopape

 

A native of South Africa, Dineo Seshee Bopape develops a poetics of space. Through installations made up of an array of colourful elements, whether they be objects, images, videos, sculptures, interwoven by close spatial and temporal relationships, she explores various kinds of narrative procedures. Her performance work stages situations or little stories belonging to intimate or collective memory. Dineo Seshee Bopape will be in residence at the Darling Foundry until June 2012.

Martin Chramosta

 

Martin Chramosta is a graduate of the Institut Kunst, HGK Basel. His work is based on the points of intersection between the worlds of music and the visual arts through several mediums : illustration, performance, installation and video. He directs his research in the field of alternative, popular and elitist cultures. Between reality and fiction, he turns away and blurs the reading while questioning the commonplace and the rules belonging to the world of art. Martin Chramosta is in residence at Darling Foundry until June 2012.

Paul de Guzman

 

Paul de Guzman works in fields as varied as text, sculpture, installation, photography, sound and video, performance and social practice.  His works are characterized by conceptual strategies involving architecture through the creation of temporary structures using linguistic and architectural models. Paul de Guzman will be in residency at the Darling Foundry from February 1 to April 30, 2012.
