The Darling Foundry offers a unique space, integrating its rich industrial past with its new cultural vocation, highlighting its character and aesthetic splendour. Renovated by avant-garde architecture firm in situ in 2002, the Darling Foundry has preserved traces of its former large scale occupation while presenting a converted ultra modernist space.

Three rooms are available for renting, depending on the type of event and number of guests:

Large Gallery

This large magnificent industrial space measures more than 500 m2 (5000 p2) and 13 metres (38’) at its highest point, allowing for maximum flexibility in conversion, able to adapt to multiple productions. Among its numerous features are:

• The possibility of darkening the room (95%) thanks to individual drapes on each window
• A heated floor that gives off a comfortable temperature
• Floor and ceiling anchoring points
• Floor drains
• Roof access
• An opaque window treatment that diffuses exceptional lighting
• A brick wall of 25’ high and 35’ long
• Electrical capability for 500 amps in three-phases on 2 Cam-lock panels of 100 and 400 amps

Small Gallery

This room is located adjacent to the large gallery, separated by gypsum walls and offers altogether different advantages. With a total surface area of 180 m2 (1800 p2) the following capabilities are available:

• Lighting can be completely controlled through the use of movable projectors on electrical rails along with neon lights.
• Temperature is regulated by a heating and air conditioning system
• 22 metre (67’) continuous picture rail without break
• Electrical capability for 500 amps in three-phases on 2 Cam-lock panels of 100 and 400 amps
• Access to 4 toilets and 2 sinks
• Parking available after 5pm and on the weekends
• Possibility of high speed Internet hook up

Reception Room

This space is adjacent to the large gallery allowing for reception of guests on a more intimate scale or it can allow for a complementary adjunct to your events at Cluny ArtBar. This space of 100 m2 (1000 p2) allows for the following advantages:

• A view on the large gallery
• Direct access to Cluny
• Electrical capability for 500 amps in three-phases on 2 Cam-lock panels of 100 and 400 amps
• Access to 4 toilets and 2 sinks
• Parking available after 5pm and on the weekends
