Photo: Mario CôtéHozhro means “harmony, beauty” in Navajo. Based on Michel Gonneville’s eponymous scenic cantata, this multidisciplinary performance was developed from a 1991 choreography by Jean-Pierre Perreault, entitled Îles. This cantata follows the journey of a woman haunted by the ecological crisis who seeks to recover the inner harmony essential to any action in this world. The telltale movements, projections, lighting and scenes merge with the music and texts to create a unique experience in a venue that stands in sharp relief of the theme presented therein.
