Mario Cournoyer

Over the past few years, Mario Cournoyer’s practice has lingered on an examination of certain mechanisms that he transposes more or less faithfully into this sculptures and installations. Putting aside the concept itself of mechanism, the form, the finished product and its signification are often transformed once the artist creates parallels with other realities.
