2012 will be a pilot year during which the Darling Foundry wishes to demonstrate the relevance of giving art a prominent place in the urban fabric. The visual arts center received approval from the borough of Ville-Marie to close Ottawa Street between Prince and Queen streets for a full year in order to host artistic events. Within a unique platform in the very heart of a vibrant neighborhood, artists from all disciplines are encouraged to submit innovative and exploratory projects.
